Dr. Henrik Mei joined Kalms Consulting in 2023.
Educated as a medical biotechnologist, Henrik developed into translational research in immunology and rheumatology, and earned his PhD in 2009 from the Humboldt University Berlin. After holding positions at the Charité Berlin and the Deutsches Rheumaforschungszentrum Berlin he was a Postdoc at Stanford University. Since 2015, Henrik is a Principal Investigator and Technology Platform Head at the Deutsches Rheumaforschungszentrum Berlin. He initiated and coordinates the German Mass Cytometry Network and became involved in the German Society for Cytometry.
Henrik is an expert in cytometric technologies and assays, B cell immunology and human immune profiling. He brings 20 years of experience in biomedical research including project management, funding acquisition, leadership and strategic planning. He has authored and contributed to 50+ papers, patents, and grant applications.
At Kalms Consulting, Henrik will support various activities ranging from market access consulting to business development.
