Gerhard has 30 years of experience in marketing and sales, business development and corporate development. Through his many years of industry experience in various management positions in the pharmaceutical, biotech and medtech industries, he has in-depth knowledge of these industries in Germany.
In recent years, Gerhard worked as a senior technology consultant at VDI Technologiezentrum GmbH. The focus of his work during this time was on advising medtech companies in the fields of R&D and corporate development, and he worked with political decision- makers to create and support funding measures for the medical technology industry in Germany.
He is well connected in the industry and with regional networks and national associations and has in-depth knowledge of the healthcare market.
Gerhard studied chemistry, earned a PhD in organic chemistry and an MBA with a focus on marketing.
